Integritis acquires JS-IG to accelerate scale-up support and bring the Integritis Foundation to life

Integritis, a purpose-driven, UK-based provider of integrated business operations support, has completed its acquisition of JS Information Governance (JS-IG), a specialised data protection, information governance, and regulatory consultancy founded by Mark Povey.

The strategic deal, which doubles Integritis’ annual turnover, also strengthens Integritis’ data protection, compliance, and information governance capability and expands the regulatory support it offers scaling UK businesses.

It also brings Mark Povey, who co-founded JS-IG with John Munton and is an eleven-year British Army veteran, into the Midlands-based business to lead and scale the social enterprise’s Foundation, the company’s social impact arm focused on supporting military veterans into long-term consultancy careers.

Under the terms of the acquisition, four members of the JS-IG team — including Mark Povey — will transition into Integritis, taking the headcount from eight to 12 with no roles being lost through the acquisition, ensuring continuity for JS-IG's client base. JS-IG clients will continue to be served by their existing account teams, with no change to service or pricing. JS-IG’s operations transitioned to Integritis from 1 May 2026.

JS-IG has been operating for eleven years, providing a specialised data protection, Data Subject Access Request (DSAR), Freedom of Information (FOIA) and outsourced Data Protection Officer (DPO) support to a broad UK and international client base.

Mark Povey will take up a dual role at Integritis, continuing to lead the JS-IG client book as Service and Commercial Director while stepping into the driving seat of the Integritis Foundation. The Foundation, a not-for-profit Community Interest Company launched alongside Integritis, reinvests a share of Integritis profits into veteran resettlement, training, and long-term consultancy careers through the Integritis Consulting Academy and Consultant Guild, aligned to the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

For Povey, the move is a full-circle moment. A radiotelegraphist who joined the Army as a junior soldier at 16, served in Germany and the Gulf, and transitioned directly into civilian life, he has spent his post-service career building and leading specialist data businesses.

Kieran Morgan-McGeehan, Co-Founder of Integritis, said: “Bringing Mark and the JS-IG team into Integritis is a strategic acceleration on every front. Commercially, it deepens our data protection, information governance, and regulatory capability and meaningfully strengthens what we can offer growing businesses navigating increasing compliance pressure.

“Just as importantly, it places the Integritis Foundation in the hands of someone who truly understands the people it is built to serve. Mark brings the lived experience, the network and the conviction to make the Foundation what we always intended it to be — a structural commitment to veterans, not a symbolic one.”

Mark Povey, incoming leader of the Integritis Foundation and Sales Director at Integritis, added: “This isn’t a deal driven by numbers alone. It’s driven by trust, by alignment of values, and by a sense that I now have the right partners to lighten the load and take on the work I care most about.

“The Foundation is personal. The Army gave me skills I didn’t always know I had — problem-solving, resilience, discipline, the ability to stay calm and work the numbers — and too many veterans leave service without anyone helping them see those skills for what they are. The Academy is about unlocking that. It’s about saying to people, ‘You already know this. Let us help you put it to work.’

“My focus now is on making the Foundation free at the point of use, drawing in the networks and relationships I’ve built over decades to underwrite that ambition, and building something that lasts.”

Co-founded by Kieran Morgan-McGeehan and Dave King, Integritis was launched a year ago to address a growing challenge facing ambitious businesses: how to scale sustainably without distraction, complexity, or unnecessary cost. The company operates as a silent, smooth-running engine behind the scenes, taking responsibility for the systems and processes that keep businesses on course as they grow.

The acquisition is the first since Integritis launched in April 2025. Since beginning trading, Integritis has already secured contracts with start-up and scale-up businesses across digital transformation, cyber, risk, and SaaS sectors. The early traction reflects strong demand from UK organisations seeking a dependable, growth-ready operating partner rather than fragmented outsourced support.
